Park Policy 2024
Thank you for choosing the Killarney View Cabins and caravan park as the destination for your upcoming visit to the beautiful Southern Downs Region. Your reservation has been accepted for the number of guests and animals stated on your booking confirmation and any additional guests or pets will incur further charges and/or the requirement for additional accommodation/sites.
By entering the Killarney View Cabin and Caravan Park you acknowledge that you are a tourist, and you are entering the park for holiday purposes only.
Visitors:
· Only overnight guests are permitted to use the showers, toilets, laundry and Camp kitchen and BBQ’s.
· Day visitors unknown to a current guest are not permitted on site.
· Day visitors known to a staying guest need to check in and out at the office, and stay a maximum of 2 hours, only between the hours of 9.30am and 4.30pm.
· All visitors to Guests staying in the park are required to park outside. If they enter the park in their vehicles Both Visitors and Guests will be asked to leave.
· On long weekends and festivals, we are unable to have visitors into the park at any time due to safety concerns with numbers in the park. Only paid guests are allowed to enter the park.
Water usage.
The water onsite is bore water, not to be used for washing of vehicles, camping equipment, caravans or part thereof. A fee will be incurred for excess water use or asked to leave the park.
Noise Curfew: To ensure the enjoyment and comfort of all guests in the park, both of our camp kitchens close at 9 pm. While you are welcome to socialize at your site, we ask that you keep your conversations to a respectful volume and refrain from playing music after 9.30pm.
Smoking Policy: All accommodations and facilities are non-smoking, please do not use the garden as deposal for cigarette butts. A fee will be incurred if rubbish is not disposed of appropriately.
Security: A valid credit card is required for all Cabin accommodation bookings. Your card will be held securely on file to be applied on unpaid balances, damages or excessive cleaning. CCV codes are never kept.
Appliances: Only appliances supplied in the cabins and camp kitchen are to be used. Use of other electrical appliances will incur a fee.
No EV Charging: No charging of EV vehicles at Killarney View. There is a charging station in Warwick
Pets: All pets required prior approval to enter the Park. We are a pet-friendly park and welcome well-behaved fur babies who remain on their lead while in the park. Pets are welcome to stay with you for free on our powered and unpowered sites. A modest cleaning fee applies in our pet-friendly cabin. No pets to entry the park unless authorized by management, no visitors to bring pets into the park please.
Insurance:
All guests are required to hold an insurance policy covering both their vehicles and vans as we take no responsibility for Force Majeure events, such as damage sustained due to falling branches or other extraordinary events or circumstance beyond our control. In addition, it is advised that guests take out travel insurance whilst on holidays. This should protect against the unlikely event that you may be forced to cancel. Examples of unforeseen circumstances: in case of bad weather (i.e. excess rain), death in family, transport difficulties (i.e. plane strike or flights being cancelled), severe emergency events (i.e. flood, fire) – these are just some issues you may face. Insurance policies vary between companies so take the time to research thoroughly to ensure you are protected against all issues that may be encountered.
Bicycles & Scooters: Paid Guests may ride bicycles and scooters within the park, however, must do so in a manner that does not endanger themselves, other persons, or any property. Children must be always supervised. It is a requirement that all riders comply to the rules of the state that apply to road safety, wear helmets always and must not exceed the signed speed limits. The riding of skateboards, rollerblades, in-line skates or any other ride on apparatus is not permitted in the park. Bicycles cannot be ridden after sunset. When not in use bicycles and scooters must be stored neatly and must not be left to obstruct the roadways or pathways of the park to cause a trip hazard for other guests.
Each Guest booked is deemed to have accepted these booking conditions. If you make a booking on behalf of another person you must bring these boking conditions to that person’s attention. The person Checking into the accommodation shall be personally responsible for all charges incurred to the designated Cabin/site. It is a condition of your occupancy that the owners of the premises are not liable for damage to or loss of property which the occupier or his/her guest may bring onto the premises. It is an extra condition that the occupier will be personally responsible for any damage caused to the premises during his/her occupancy and for any loss of property or items taken from the property and not declared and here by authorizes management to charge his/her credit card for any such damage.
